Rob Lebow, who was counted amongst the Top 100 "Thought Leaders" world-wide in 2005, is the chairman of LCI (Lebow Company, Inc.), an internationally operating training and research company. LCI is regarded by Dunn & Bradstreet as one of the leading training organisations in America according to a customer survey. In 1989 LCI patented the Shared Values Process/Operating System. This is based on the original research of over 17 million studies which have been conducted in 40 countries. Today, LCI has over 300 clients world-wide and has collected data from more than 2,400 organisations across the globe. LCI thus has the largest database in the world for the cultural elements of value-oriented collaboration.
His book, "A Journey into the Heroic Environment", appeared in 1990 and became a bestseller. It was translated into seven languages and sold over 300,000 copies world-wide. The third edition of the book was published in 2004. His book "Last Change", which was published together with the bestseller author William Simon in 1997, was praised as one of the best business books of the year for its change management practices. His third book "Accountability - Freedom and Responsibility without Control", which appeared in collaboration with the author Randy Spitzer, was recommended by several leading associations for social psychology and organisational development as "best book". Rob Lebow has so far published or initiated six books which concentrate on the topic of shared values and changing corporate culture in terms of improving company performance.
